Mailman Postpones Retirement, People Send Him On Dream Vacation

Floyd Martin has been a mailman in Atlanta, Georgia for 35 years, everyone it seems loves what he has done for the local community here. They wanted to pay him back in some way, for all the deliveries he has made at their doorstep. So, they decided to send Floyd on an all expenses paid vacation. He has delivered mail to 500 homes in Atlanta for years.

Without fail, the 61-year-old postal worker would give lollipops to the local kids, he smiled and waved to homeowners. Floyd checked up on the families and even brought newspapers to the front doors of elderly residents here. He even doled out cat and dog treats to all the neighborhood pets. His efforts have not gone unnoticed. A party was held in his honor as he has since retired.
